Katharina Wolff (born November 30, 1983 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ), entrepreneur and singer . She was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 2011 to 2015 .

Life

Katharina Wolff is the daughter of the singer and actor Rüdiger Wolff and the nutritionist Dörten Wolff. In 2003 she graduated from Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Hamburg and then studied law at the University of Hamburg .

In 2009 Wolff graduated with a degree in law. During her studies she also worked as a personnel consultant and singer. She had her first appearance at the side of her father on NDR television at the age of 14. Others followed u. a. in programs such as “Current Schaubude”, “Das Lied zum Glück”, “Carmen Nebel”, “Immer wieder Sonntags” or “ Fernsehgarten ”.

Wolff lives in the Harvestehude district in Hamburg. She is self-employed and involved in internet startups as a partner. Since 2018 she has been producing the podcast "Inside Team Building", which is about putting together the best possible work teams.

Wolff joined the Junge Union and CDU Hamburg in 2006 and was involved as district chairwoman of the JU district association Harvestehude / Rotherbaum and as a local and district board member of the CDU Eimsbüttel.

From 2010 to 2014 she was an assessor on the federal executive board of the Junge Union Deutschlands, where she was the spokesperson for medium-sized companies and cultural policy.

As the top candidate of the CDU for the Hamburg citizenship of her constituency Harvestehude / Rotherbaum / Eimsbüttel-Ost , she was elected to the citizenship in 2011 in the elections for citizenship in Hamburg . For the CDU parliamentary group, she first took on the role of spokeswoman for social policy, followed by network policy on the subject of startups and the Internet. In May 2014, she announced that she would no longer run in the 2015 mayor elections and would retire from politics for the time being.

In September of the same year, during a debate on refugee accommodation in the plenary hall, Wolff did such extensive online shopping that this was noticed by visitors and President Veit commented on the general behavior of MPs in public.
