The Grenzbach (also: Graubach, Schlaxlbachl, Czech: Šedý potok) is a 2.4 km long, left tributary of the Bavarian Schwarzach in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .
course
The Grenzbach rises at an altitude of 665 m between the 699 m high U Březové Paseky and the 701 m high Březový Kopec, southwest of Paadorf, in the Czech Republic . In the Czech Republic it bears the name Šedý potok (literally translated: Gray Stream). From its source it turns to the northwest. After 400 m it meets the German-Czech border.
From this point it flows exactly on the border in a north-westerly direction. Hence its German name Grenzbach. In the last 200 meters before its mouth, the Grenzbach turns to the west, just like the German-Czech border. After two kilometers it flows southeast of Charlottenthal into the Bavarian Schwarzach , which comes from the north, also flowing along the German-Czech border.
Tributaries
The Grenzbach takes in some small, nameless streams coming from the left.
