Grete Gaim (born May 21, 1993 in Tartu ) is an Estonian biathlete .

Grete Gaim made her international debut as part of the Junior World Championships 2010 in Torsby , where she was 63rd of the individual and 48th of the sprint, she did not finish the pursuit. She was tenth with the season. This was followed by the junior races of the European Championships in Otepää , in which the Estonian finished 45th in the individual, 34th in the sprint and 42nd in the pursuit. A year later Gaim was at the Junior World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě 50th of the individual, 19th of the sprint, 18th of the pursuit and with Johanna Talihärm and Daria YurlovaSixth in the relay competition. In the course of the year she also took part in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 and came in 18th in the sprint and 17th in the pursuit race.

At the start of the 2011/12 season , Gaim started in Östersund as part of the IBU Cup in her first races in the performance area and finished 51st in the sprint. The debut in the World Cup followed in the same place a week later . The Estonian was 81 in her first sprint. In Nové Město na Moravě she was able to achieve her best result in the highest racing series with a 75th place in the sprint. With the relay, a 14th place at the side of Kristel Viigipuu , Daria Yurlova and Johanna Talihärm in Oberhof was the best result so far. The 2012 European Championships in Osrblie became her first international championship for women. With 16th place in the sprint, Gaim achieved one of the best placements of an Estonian biathlete in an international top race. She no longer competed in the pursuit race.

Her greatest success to date is the gold medal in the pursuit at the Junior World Championships , which were held in Kontiolahti , Finland in February 2012 . The victory came as a surprise because after the previous sprint in which she had finished tenth, she started the race 1:12 minutes behind. At the start of the 2013/14 season , she won an individual in Östersund in 39th place for the first time in World Cup points.
