Band history
Lombardo met the guitarist Waldemar Sorychta while recording the Phillip Boa project Vodoocult . They decided to work together outside of Boa's project and hired Gus Chambers as singer and Jason Viebrooks as bassist.
Even before the first album was recorded, the band was sued by the members and the manager of a band called "Grip", which had split up over ten years earlier. After Grip Inc. won the lawsuits, the debut album Power of Inner Strength was recorded. Two more albums followed with Nemesis and Solidify , before the band temporarily split up in 1999. In 2004, Incorporated, the last full album to date, was released.
Chambers died on October 13, 2008. Suicide was first reported, but the official investigation revealed an accidentally fatal mixture of drugs and alcohol.
After Lombardo left Slayer again in February 2013, the group reunited with Casey Chaos von Amen as singer. In 2015 the EP Hostage To Heaven was released. It contains three previously unreleased recordings with Chambers and a new recording of the title track originally released on the debut album with vocals by Casey Chaos.
