The Great Eyberg is Palatinate Forest . It is located in the district of Südwestpfalz on the district of Dahn in the Dahner Felsenland , a part of the Wasgau formed by the southern part of the Palatinate Forest and the northern part of the Vosges .high mountain in the southern
On top of the Eyberg is the 18 m high Eybergturm , a steel lattice tower that was built by the French military between 1945 and 1949. The tower can only be reached via unpaved hiking trails. Its viewing platform offers a panoramic view mainly in a southerly direction.
The Great Eyberg isto the highest mountains of the Dahn rock country.
There is also a hotel of the same name (Hotel Eyberg) at the foot of the mountain in Dahn.
