The Großer Lückner nature reserve northeast of Oppen is located in the districts of Saarlouis and Merzig-Wadern in Saarland .

The area through which the state road L 156 runs extends northeast of Oppen , a district of the municipality of Beckingen . The B 268 runs east and flows the Prims , a right tributary of the Saar .
