Groslée is located at 202 to one thousand meters above sea level French village in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The commune, which existed until January 1, 2016, with a 7.27 square kilometer area and today's Commune déléguée is located in the canton of Lagnieu in the Belley arrondissement . It was incorporated into the Commune nouvelle Groslée-Saint-Benoit by decree of December 30, 2015 .

Neighboring towns are Lhuis in the west and north-west, Conzieu in the north-east and in the east, Saint-Benoît in the south and Brangues in the south-west.
