Conzieu is a French commune in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Belley in the arrondissement of the same name . It borders in the northwest on Lhuis , north to Ambléon , on the east by Colomieu , to the south Arboys-en-Bugey , in the southwest on Groslée-Saint-Benoit and in the northwest on Groslée .
The residents call themselves conjolans.

Viticulture
The breeder Pierre Landot (* 1900, † 1942) bred Landal Noir and other grape varieties in Conzieu and fought against phylloxera .
