Valromey-sur-Séran is a French commune with 1,311 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ain in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Belley and the canton of Hauteville-Lompnes .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by merging the previous municipalities of Belmont-Luthézieu , Lompnieu , Sutrieu and Vieu . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées . The administrative center is located in Belmont-Luthézieu.
