Cressin-Rochefort is a French commune in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Belley in the arrondissement of the same name .

geography

The commune is bordered by Lavours to the north, Chanaz to the east, Lucey to the south-east, Massignieu-de-Rives to the south, Saint-Champ to the south - west and Pollieu to the north-west . The Lac du Lit au Roi is located in Cressin-Rochefort and Massignieu-de-Rives and is affected by the Canal de Derivation du Rhône . This artificial body of water crosses Cressin-Rochefort, while the natural Rhône forms the eastern municipal boundary.
