Champdor-Cordelles is a French commune in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was created as Commune nouvelle by a decree of November 27, 2015 with effect from January 1, 2016, by merging the previous municipalities of Champdor and Corcelles . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées . Champdor is the main town (chef-lieu). Neighboring municipalities are Outriaz in the northwest, Vieu-d'Izenave and Brénod in the north, Haut-Valromey in the east, Ruffieu in the southeast, Plateau d'Hauteville with Hauteville-Lompnes in the south, Aranc in the southwest and Izenave and Lantenay in the west.
