Conand is located at 360 m , 22 kilometers northwest of Belley and about 52 kilometers east-northeast of the city of Lyon (as the crow flies). The parish is in the Bugey countryside . Conand is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Rambert-en-Bugey in the north, Arandas in the east, Ordonnaz in the southeast, Bénonces in the south, Souclin in the west and southwest and Cleyzieu in the west.
