Arvière-en-Valromey is a French municipality with 713 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Belley and the canton of Hauteville-Lompnes .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019, when the previous municipalities of Brénaz , Chavornay , Lochieu and Virieu-le-Petit were merged and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipalities . The administrative headquarters are in Virieu-le-Petit.
