The Canton of Hauteville-Lompnes is a French canton in the department of Ain in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It comprises 28 parishes in the arrondissements of Belley and Nantua , and its bureau centralisateur is in Plateau d'Hauteville . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015.

Until the reorganization, the canton of Hauteville-Lompnes consisted of the six municipalities of Aranc , Corlier , Cormaranche-en-Bugey , Hauteville-Lompnes , Prémillieu and Thézillieu . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​131.12 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0115.
