The canton of Bourg-en-Bresse-2 is a French canton in the Arrondissement Bourg-en-Bresse , in the department of Ain and the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It comprises three municipalities and the south-western part of the municipality of Bourg-en-Bresse , in which his bureau centralisateur is also located.
The current administrative unit was created as part of the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015 and replaced a similar structure made up of several cantons ( Bourg-en-Bresse-Est , -Nord-Center and -Sud ) and the canton of Péronnas . It includes the train station district of Bourg-en-Bresse.
