geography
Brens is located about four kilometers south of the city center of Belley on the Rhône , into which the Furans flows, in the Bugey . Brens is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Belley in the north and west, Virignin in the east and northeast, La Balme in the east and southeast, Peyrieu in the south and Arboys-en-Bugey with Arbignieu in the west and southwest.
