The Furans is a river in France that runs in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipality of La Burbanche , drains generally in a south-east direction through the Bugey landscape and flows after 29 kilometers at the hamlet of the same name Furans , in the municipality of Brens as a right tributary to the Rhône , directly at the re-confluence of the Belley canal ( Canal de Dérivation du Rhône ) into the main river.
