Boz is a French commune in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Replonges in the Bourg-en-Bresse arrondissement . The residents call themselves Burhins or Burhines.

geography

In the west, the Saône forms the border with the Saône-et-Loire department . The opposite municipalities are Saint-Albain , La Salle and Senozan . Boz is also bordered by Reyssouze in the north, Gorrevod in the northeast, Chevroux in the east, Ozan in the south and Asnières-sur-Saône in the southwest.
