Gruber Prize for Genetics
The Gruber Genetics Prize is a science award in the field of genetics awarded since 2001 by the Peter and Patricia Gruber Foundation based on Saint Thomas . It aims to recognize groundbreaking discoveries in the entire field of genetics.
Like the other Gruber Prizes , the prize is endowed with 500,000 US dollars , which the winner can freely use. The winners also receive a gold medal engraved with their name and the research achievement recognized.
