Guaraya is a town in the La Paz department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

location

Guaraya is the fourth largest city in the canton of Tiahuanacu in the municipality of Tiahuanacu in the province Ingavi . The village is situated at an altitude of 3881  m seven kilometers southwest of the ruins of Tiwanaku , which the center of a pre-Inca culture was and since the year 2000 to the World Heritage Site of UNESCO belongs.
