Gudrun Deubener
Gudrun Deubener (née Rammler ; born October 17, 1931 in Gößnitz , Thuringia ; † June 4, 2009 ) was a German screenwriter and scenarioist.
Life
Deubener studied theater studies in Weimar and at the Leipzig Theater Academy . She initially worked at the Leipzig State Theater before moving to DEFA in Babelsberg as a screenwriter in 1955 . There she wrote, among other things, for children's films and fairy tale adaptations such as Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White . In 1990 she retired, but continued to work as a consultant for DEFA.
In 1979 she was awarded the National Prize of the GDR, 2nd class for art and literature.
