Gudrun Koencke

Gudrun Köncke (born May 23, 1963 in Pinneberg ) is a politician on the Hamburg Green Alternatives List (GAL).

Life

Gudrun Köncke grew up in the neighboring town of Rellingen in Pinneberg . She completed her studies in German , geography and educational science . Then she began teaching German, geography and social studies at the Rudolf Steiner School in Harburg ( Waldorf School ). She lives in Hamburg's Ottensen . She is now a teacher at Bornbrook grammar school (Lohbrügge). There she teaches the subjects PGW (Politics, Society, Economics), History, German and Geography.

Koencke joined the GAL in 1998. She had her first party political task as an assessor in the district executive of the Greens in Altona (2000–2003). Since 2003 she has taken on the same task of assessor in the regional association of the GAL Hamburg.

In the District Assembly Altona Köncke sat from 2001 to 2004. She was from 17 March 2004 Member of the Hamburg Parliament . It moved into the city parliament via the GAL state list (17th place). In the 18th legislative period , she was the specialist spokesperson for work in her parliamentary group and a member of the urban development committee, the economic committee and the building and transport committee. The areas of social affairs, urban development, economy and work are the focus of her work.

In the Hamburg state election in 2008 , she ran in the Altona constituency behind Christa Goetsch in second place on the constituency list. Although Goetsch's mandate was suspended because of her work as a senator, it was not Koencke who moved up, but Linda Heitmann , who in fifth place on the constituency list had received the second most votes.

Since October 2008, Köncke has been a member of the district board of GAL in Altona.
