Guglielmo Borghetti (born March 25, 1954 in Avenza , Province of Massa-Carrara , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Albenga-Imperia .

Life

Guglielmo Borghetti received on 17 October 1982, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 25, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello . The Bishop of Fiesole , Mario Meini , donated him episcopal ordination on September 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop of Massa Carrara-Pontremoli , Giovanni Santucci , and the bishop emeritus of Massa Carrara-Pontremoli, Eugenio Binini . The inauguration took place on September 26, 2010.

Pope Francis appointed him coadjutor bishop of Albenga-Imperia on January 10, 2015 . The inauguration took place on March 25 of the same year.

With Mario Oliveri's resignation on September 1, 2016, he succeeded him as Bishop of Albenga-Imperia.
