Giovanni Roncari OFMCap (born August 19, 1949 in Verona , Italy ) is an Italian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello .

Life

Giovanni Roncari entered the Capuchin novitiate in 1966 and made perpetual profession on August 20, 1972 . On March 22, 1975, he received the sacrament of ordination .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello on October 1, 2015 . The Archbishop of Florence , Cardinal Giuseppe Betori , donated him episcopal ordination on November 21 of the same year . Co - consecrators were the coadjutor bishop of Albenga-Imperia , Guglielmo Borghetti , and the bishop of Fiesole , Mario Meini . The inauguration in the Diocese of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello took place on November 29, 2015.
