Guillano Grot (born March 15, 1983 in Paramaribo , Suriname ) is a Dutch football player .
Career
The center forward began his career in the youth departments of Vitesse Arnheim and NEC Nijmegen and in 2003 played for one year in Germany for the first division club 1. FC Bocholt . After returning to the Eredivisie at NEC Nijmegen, he moved to league rivals Excelsior Rotterdam in 2006 and a year later to Helmond Sport in the Dutch second division. In 2008, Guillano Grot joined the Finnish club Inter Turku with coach Job Dragtsma . With the club, the attacker became Finnish champions in 2008 and cup winners in 2009 . In January 2011 Grot returned to the Netherlands and moved to De Treffers in the newly founded 3rd division, the top class . His younger brother Sherwin Grot was also playing for De Treffers at the time.
In May 2011, Guillano Grot completed a trial training session at the Polish first division club Cracovia Krakau , where the former NEC professionals Saïdi Ntibazonkiza and Arkadiusz Radomski were already under contract. Cracovia's technical director, former Rotterdam professional Tomasz Rząsa, confirmed the interest of the club . During the 2011/12 winter break, Grot moved to WKE from Emmen , where he played until 2015. Since 2017 he has been active for the reserve team of the NEC Nijmegen .
