Guillaume Pierre Godin O.P. (* 1260 in Bayonne ; † June 4, 1336 in Avignon ) was a cardinal of the Roman Church and cardinal bishop of the suburbicarian diocese of Sabina .

Life

Godin was a Dominican who made profession in 1279 at the age of about 19 . It is not known exactly when he was ordained priest and episcopal . On December 23, 1312 he was promoted to cardinal as a cardinal priest of Santa Cecilia . On September 12, 1317 he became Cardinal Bishop of Sabina. He was the chief consecrator of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Raymond Bequin (1324), Bishop Arnold von Eltz von Kammin (1325) and Bishop Matteo Orsini (1326), all three of whom also belonged to the Dominican order.
