action
During a raid on a village, a woman manages to bring Chief Mevian's just-born twins to safety. Mevian was previously foretold that one of his sons would be destined to fight evil. When one of the sons is promoted to death by the evildoers who were already murdering at the beginning, the other takes up the fight against the enemy. Gunan falls in love with the girl Lenni, but she is kidnapped by the jealous Amazon Marga and handed over to the main villain Nuriak. Gunan finally succeeds in freeing Lenni and carrying off the victory.
criticism
"A flat and rather simple-minded plagiarism from Conan, the barbarian - only more stupid."
"The film leaves the impression that it was shot by amateurs with amateur actors in the Cologne foothills."
"A trivial, stupid, cinematic unimaginatively staged story that uses the principle of a very vulgar social Darwinism, according to which the fittest may survive."
background
The film grossed 147 million lire in Italy .
