Gunnar Eisold (born June 24, 1965 in Hamburg ) is a German SPD politician . From 2008 to 2015 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and work

Gunnar Eisold grew up in Hamburg-Volksdorf , attended the Im Allhorn elementary school from 1971 to 1975 and the Walddörfer-Gymnasium from 1975 to 1984, which he finished with the Abitur. From 1985 to 1986 he did his community service in the Evangelical Lutheran parish in Hamburg-Farmsen . From 1986 to 1993 he studied theater studies , German literature and history at the universities in Vienna and Hamburg and graduated with a master's degree in modern history. In 1994 he became a scientific adviser to members of parliament and has been an employee of the Central Residents' Office of the Department of Home Affairs since 1995 . He is divorced and has a son.

Gunnar Eisold was a member of the SPD youth organization Jusos . From 1997 until his election to the state parliament in 2008, he was a member of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly . There he was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group and was a member of the budget and economic committee. He was also a member of the Fuhlsbüttel - Langenhorn local committee and the aircraft noise protection commission .

In February 2008, he was in the state election on the constituency Fuhlsbüttel-Alsterdorf-Langenhorn move as a deputy in the Hamburg Parliament. He sat for his group in the family, children and youth committee and in the urban development committee. In the 2011 mayor election , he defended his constituency mandate. In the 2015 general election, he ran for 44th place on the SPD state list, but did not receive a mandate.
