Gunnar Hedlund
Gunnar Hedlund (* 1. September 1900 in Helgum , Ångermanland ; † 26. November 1989 ) was a Swedish politician of Centerpartiet and farmer .
Life
From 1949 to 1971 Hedlund was the successor of Axel Pehrsson-Bramstorp party chairman of the Centerpartiet. He was followed in 1971 by Thorbjörn Fälldin as party chairman . From 1951 to 1957 he was Minister of the Interior in Sweden as the successor to Eije Mossberg .
From 1942 to 1976 Hedlund was a member of parliament. Among other things, he succeeded in the 1960 election , the 1964 election , the 1968 election , the 1970 election and the 1973 election, each of the election as a member of the Swedish Riksdag .
