Gustaf Wickman (born November 8, 1858 in Gothenburg , † August 22, 1916 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish architect.

After studies at the art academy and study trips through France , Germany and Italy in 1885 and England and the USA in 1893, Gustaf Wickman worked as an architect in Stockholm. He specialized in bank buildings, which he executed in an eclectic style that combined baroque, art nouveau and modern American architecture. In addition to several banks in Stockholm such as Skånes enskilda bank, Sundsvall enskilda bank, Skövdes enskilda bank, he was responsible for building banks in Jönköping , Kalmar , Norrköping , Örebro , Skövde , Sundsvall , Uddevalla and other cities.

When the city of Kiruna was founded in 1900, Gustaf Wickman was commissioned to design the city. Together with the urban planning architect Per Hallman, the floor plan of the new city was determined and Gustaf Wickman began to design and build villas, working-class neighborhoods and public buildings such as the church , the police station and the fire station , schools. At the Stockholm Industrial and Art Exhibition in 1897, Stockholmsutställningen in 1897 , Wickman was the main architect.
