Gustav Altfelix
Gustav Altfelix (born August 7, 1859 in Durlach , † March 7, 1934 in Freiburg ) was a German lawyer , Lord Mayor and honorary citizen of Lahr .
Life
Altfelix was born in 1859 as the son of an official auditor and, after attending grammar school, studied law at the universities in Berlin and Heidelberg . In 1879 he became a member of the black fraternity and later fraternity of Vineta Heidelberg . After the exam and the doctorate to Dr. iur. In 1882 he was a trainee lawyer in 1886 , in 1890 a planned civil servant and bailiff in the Lörrach district , in 1893 a senior bailiff and chief officer in Stockach , before becoming mayor of Lahr from 1898 to 1928.
