Emil Gustav Lisco (born January 13, 1819 in Berlin; † February 8, 1887 ) was a German Protestant pastor.

Lisco was the son of the Berlin pastor Friedrich Gustav Lisco and came into contact with liberal theology during his studies. In 1843 he became assistant preacher in Zehdenick , in 1845 a deacon at the Marienkirche in Berlin, in 1859 first adjunct , later pastor at the New Church . He was one of the opponents of the state church policy of Friedrich Wilhelm IV. His liberal theology stood in sharp contrast to the Lutheran-denominational pietism of the revival preacher Gustav Knak . In 1868 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Heidelberg .

In 1872 Lisco was through his lecture " About the Apostolic Creed " next to Karl Sydow, the trigger of the apostolic dispute by calling the virgin birth and the descent into hell of Christ as legends, which led to a disciplinary reprimand. He was dismissed from the parish because of a voluntary report for not using the Apostolicum. In 1880 he was one of the signatories of the Notabeln Declaration .
