Gustav von Bühler

Karl Gustav Friedrich Bühler , from 1873 von Bühler , (born December 13, 1817 in Stuttgart , † September 25, 1892 in Friedrichshafen ) was a German domain director and member of the Reichstag.

Life

Bühler attended high school and the polytechnic in Stuttgart and studied camera science from 1836 to 1839 at the Eberhard Karls University . There he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Tübingen. After a short period of service in the Württemberg state service, he entered the service of Prince zu Hohenlohe-Oehringen and, as domain director, managed the princely possessions in Württemberg, Saxony, Silesia and Poland. In 1877 he resigned from the Princely Services.

From 1877 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag in the Württemberg electoral district 11 ( Oberamt Hall , Oberamt Backnang , Oberamt Öhringen , Oberamt Weinsberg ). In 1877 he was elected as a candidate for the German Reich Party, but resigned from the parliamentary group in 1880 and was non-attached until the end of the legislative period. In 1881 he ran for the Democratic People's Party and after his election he joined the parliamentary group of the People's Party.

In 1873 Gustav von Bühler received the Knight's Cross First Class of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , with which the staff nobility was associated.

The former Villa Bühler-Scupin in Friedrichshafen is today a stop on the History Trail (No. 3.14) and the Maybach-Weg (No. 6).
