Guy II. De Dampierre († January 18, 1216 ) was constable of the County of Champagne , Lord of Dampierre , Bourbon and Montluçon . He was the only son of Guillaume I. de Dampierre, Lord of Dampierre, and Ermengarde de Toucy .

Guy II took part in the third crusade and, as a member of an advance command, reached the siege of Acre in the autumn of 1189 . In 1191 in the Holy Land he was counted among the followers ( familiares ) of Konrad von Montferrat .

In 1212 he received from King Philip II August the order to subjugate Count Guido II of Auvergne , which he was able to successfully complete with the capture of Tournoël Castle in December 1213. In 1214 he made a decisive contribution to the French victory in the battle of Bouvines .

In 1196 he married Mathilde , mistress of Bourbon, daughter of Archambault VII , master of Bourbon, and Alix of Burgundy. Through this marriage, the Bourbon rule came to the House of Dampierre . Your children were:
