Gvozd ( Serbian - Cyrillic Гвозд ; in the 20th century Vrginmost ) is a municipality in the Sisak-Moslavina County in Croatia . In 2011 the municipality had 2,970 inhabitants, of which 66.53% were from the Serbian population and 32.02% from the Croatian population.

In 1097 the last Croatian king, Petar Svačić, was killed in the battle of Gvozd Mountain .
