Hrvatska Dubica is a place in the Sisak-Moslavina County in Croatia and the seat of the municipality of the same name.
history
The town of Dubica has been developing on the right bank of the Una since the 13th century . Hrvatska Dubica, which is now on the left bank, was founded by refugees from the city in 1739 when the city (today's Kozarska Dubica ) fell to the Ottomans after the Peace of Belgrade . During the Second World War, the city was on the territory of the fascist Independent State of Croatia (NDH), which existed from 1941 to 1945 . In the city was the Hrvatska Dubica concentration camp , which was run by the Croatian Ustaša and in which mainly Serbs , Jews and Roma were interned.
Situated near the village was during the Croatia war of guerrillas of the Krajina Serbs that on October 21, 1991 massacre Baćin committed.

Hrvatska Dubica is located on the left bank of the Una across from Kozarska Dubica (Bosanska Dubica) in Bosnia and Herzegovina . The municipality has an area of 131 km² and, with the exception of the main town, is rural.
