Héctor Guerra
Héctor Guerra García (born August 6, 1978 ) is a Spanish cyclist and triathlete .
Career
Héctor Guerra began his cycling career in 2003 with the Spanish cycling team Colchon Relax-Fuenlabrada . He has been driving for the Portuguese Continental Team L.A. Aluminios-Liberty Seguros since 2005 . He won u. a. the overall ratings of the stage races Volta ao Alentejo 2008 and 2009 Grande Prémio Internacional de Torres Vedras and Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid . His nickname is Thor .
In September 2009, he was charged with EPO - doping by the International Cycling Union UCI banned for two years.
Since 2013 he has been competing in cross triathlon as part of the Xterra racing series. He was able to win the European racing series in 2013.
In 2014 he also started in the triathlon on half the Ironman distance ( Ironman 70.3 ). In September 2015 he won the first event in Madrid on the long distance triathlon (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42 km running).
