The Hödenauersee is a quarry pond on the territory of the municipality Kiefersfelden in the district of Rosenheim in Bavaria . Like the nearby Kieferer See and Kreutsee , it was created during the construction of the Inntal motorway and is one of the warmest in the district.
The Hödenauersee is located in the Inntal Süd landscape protection area (LSG-00595.01).
Recreational area
A water ski facility has been located at Hödenauersee for over 40 years and was one of the first lifts in Germany. At the lake there is also a bathing area with sunbathing lawns, a beach volleyball and a soccer field. In addition, a sun terrace and a relaxation lounge invite you to relax. The lake is popular with the Kufstein population due to its proximity to the city .
