The Höllmühlbach is a 5.1 km long brook of the Franconian Alb in the area of ​​the city of Ansbach and the city of Herrieden in the district of Ansbach.

The Höllmühlbach arises at about 468  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.6 km north of Höfen . Initially it flows south and bends west in front of courtyards. It then flows to Liegenbach , Oberdombach , Höllmühle and Niederdombach and then flows from the left at about 421  m above sea level. NHN in the Altmühl.

Catchment area

The brook drains an area of ​​5.1 km², which naturally belongs to the sub-area of ​​the Middle Franconian Basin and the Southern Franconian Height of the Southern Franconian Alb.

The watercourses and most of the catchment area lie in the area of ​​the independent city ​​of Ansbach and the city of Herrieden, which belongs to the Central Franconian district of Ansbach .
