Hüseyin Ekici

Hüseyin Ekici (* 1990 in Berlin ) is a German actor of zaza - of Kurdish descent. He was best known for his role as Hurricane Kurtoğlu in the ARD series Lindenstrasse .

Life

Ekici grew up in the Berlin district of Neukölln .

Ekici first attracted attention on stage in 2009 in the role of Rashid A. in the production Arabboy - The Short Life of Rashid A. at the Heimathafen Neukölln theater in Berlin .

Since then he has regularly played guest roles in various television series, some of them leading episodes. Ekici often embodies criminal, violent men. The role of Hurricane Kurtoğlu , which he played in the ARD television series Lindenstrasse from 2010 to 2012 , also had humorous and personable traits.

Ekici is also a speaker in various radio plays, most recently in the RBB radio play Sandräuber (2016).
