HD 269810 (or HDE 269810 ) is one of the most massive stars currently known. According to the current state of research (2018), its mass is approx. 130 M ☉ . HD 269810 resides in the NGC 2029 cluster in the Large Magellanic Cloud . When it was discovered in 1995, it was the most massive star ever discovered at that time, with an estimated 190 M ☉ .
