Haarmühl is located southwest of Niederkappel in the Rohrbach district in Upper Austria on the plateau of the Mühlviertel , which slopes steeply further south towards the Danube .
The place, a group in the village of Niederkappel, is named after the Haarmühle / Harrmühle, of which only the foundation walls of the Haarbach flowing east, a tributary of the Danube, are visible today.
