Hagenstetten is a district of the municipality Oberdolling in the district of Eichstätt in the administrative region of Upper Bavaria in the Free State of Bavaria .

location

Hagenstetten

The place is located in the southern Franconian Jura east of the municipality of Oberdolling and east of the state road 2231. Neighboring villages are Unterdolling , Harlanden and Hienhof .

history

The earliest mention of the village can be found in the Pontifical Gundekarianum ; it records a church consecration under the Eichstätter Bishop Otto (r. 1182–96).

The village was under the Upper Bavarian Nursing Court Vohburg until its dissolution in 1803. In the early 19th century, the village was temporarily assigned to the Wackerstein rule .

From 1818 Hagenstetten and Harlanden belonged to the Unterdolling community in the Ingolstadt district court , from which the Ingolstadt district later emerged. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria in 1972, the community was incorporated into Oberdolling and thus part of the Eichstätt district.

A land consolidation was carried out in 1957. In 1983 the village consisted of five full-time farms and two part-time farms.
