Hahake ( Wallisian for "East") is one of the three districts of the Kingdom of Uvea in the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna in the Pacific . It is the most populous district in Uvea and borders on Hihifo and Mu'a .

The capital Mata-Utu is also the capital of the higher-level administrative units Uvea and Walis and Futuna.

geography

The district of Hahake is centrally located when viewed from north to south and takes up about a third of the area of ​​the island of Uvea . The islands of Nukuhifala , Nukuhione , Luaniva , Fugalei and Tekaviki , located off the east coast, also belong to Hahake . The district lies entirely on the Wallis Islands .
