nature and environment
The lower Hahnenbachtal belongs to the biotope 2 brooks south of Rudolphskirchen (area number: BT-6312-0693-2010). The biotope is a total of 1.3 hectares and is a locally significant, undeveloped stream valley with opportunities for moisture-bound animals and plants to spread.
The common ash , the white willow , the common oak and the black alder , as well as the single hawthorn and the hazelnut bush grow here on trees and bushes and the great nettle thrives particularly well in the herb layer .
The valley is a suitable habitat for animals such as aquatic insects, amphibians and water-loving bird species.
