Hainbücht is a district of Stadtroda in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .

geography

The district of Hainbücht is located directly on the western edge of the city center and on state road 1077, which leads to Jena . In Jena you can reach the connection to the federal highway 4 . The federal motorway runs not far north to Stadtroda. The Weimar – Gera railway runs north of Hainbücht . The district of Hainbücht has 207 hectares and is very hilly ; to the south slopes and hills are forested. The Roda River flows through the village. That is why there is a water mill in the district .

history

Hainbücht was first mentioned in documents in 1457. The hamlet once belonged to the monastery villages. After the monastery was dissolved in 1534, the Roda office was responsible for the village. On March 18, 1994, the village with 116 inhabitants was incorporated into Stadtroda.

Monuments

  • The mill, which is still operational today, has existed since 1617. It is used to produce compound feed for customers using hydropower. The mill is a technical monument.
  • A cross stone commemorates the pastor of Schlöben who died in storms on September 30, 1859 .
  • In 1922 an unknown sculptor carved a memorial into a rock for the soldiers who died in World War I. Below is the name board.
