The Haitzbach is a left tributary of the Bieber in the Main-Kinzig district in the Hessian Spessart .

The Haitzbach rises at an altitude of 250 m above sea level. NHN in the forest southeast of Höchst .
It flows in a north-easterly direction through forest, then runs through grassland between the Erkberg ( 251 m above sea level ) in the south and the Rehlingsberg ( 262 m above sea level ) in the north and finally flows into the Biebergemünder district of Kassel at the Stephansmühle at a height from 150 m above sea level NHN from the left into the beaver .
Its approximately 1.9 km long run ends 100 meters below the source, so it has an average bed gradient of 53 ‰.
Catchment area
The catchment area of the Haitzbach lies in the Northern Sandstone Spessart and is drained to the North Sea via the Bieber, Kinzig , Main and Rhine rivers.
It is predominantly forested on the upper reaches in the western area, otherwise grassland dominates.
The highest elevation is 393 m above sea level. NHN high Galgenberg in the south of the catchment area.
