Hakan Günday

Hakan Günday (born May 29, 1976 in Rhodes , Greece ) is a Turkish writer.

Life

Hakan Günday first attended school in Brussels . He graduated from high school at the Tevfik Fikret Liceum in Ankara . He studied French at the Hacettepe University in Ankara and in Belgium at the Université libre de Bruxelles , then political science at the University of Ankara .

His first novel, Kinyas ve Kayra , came out in 2000.

As a playwright, he works with the DOT group in Istanbul, which realized his play Malafa in 2005 . His play Mandrel premiered at the 2010 Istanbul Theater Festival.

For Daha (French Encore ), Günday was awarded the Prix ​​Médicis étranger in 2015.
