Hallo Deutschland is a tabloid and headline magazine on the TV station ZDF .
Hallo Deutschland was first broadcast on June 16, 1997. The half-hour magazine has since been broadcast live every day at 5:15 pm. From January 18, 2003, there was also a weekend edition on Saturdays, initially at 6 p.m. In the same year, deutschland is written with a lowercase d. From June 21 to August 12, 2011, the program hallo Deutschland Emotionen was broadcast in the morning program at 11:15 am . As part of a change in the ZDF program schedule, the broadcast time of the Saturday edition was set to 6:35 p.m. from May 2011, which was discontinued on July 15, 2017. On January 2, 2012, the airtime was extended to 35 minutes in favor of shorter Today news from 5pm. The broadcast now starts at 5:10 p.m. With Brisant in Das Erste and taff on ProSieben , identical formats run almost simultaneously in its afternoon program on weekdays.
The magazine hallo deutschland is devoted to tabloid topics such as accidents or fates from the country studios in Germany . The trademark of the magazine was initially a 25 meter high hot air balloon that was used for outdoor broadcasts. Special editions will be included in the program on certain topics, such as hallo deutschland mondän , hallo deutschland hautnah and the annual review hallo deutschland emotionen, which has been shown since December 22, 2007 .
In November 2013 the studio should get a relaunch. However, during rehearsals it turned out that it cannot be implemented until January 2014. A new studio was created that is more viewer-friendly.
