Pierre Geisensetter
Pierre Geisensetter (born July 27, 1972 in Jena ) is a German presenter and actor .
Life
Pierre Geisensetter was born in Jena as the son of a German and a Malian . He grew up with his mother in Jena. In 1981 the family moved to Bad Elster in Vogtland , where he later moved to Oelsnitz / Vogtl. Graduated from high school. After reunification , he studied law for four semesters in Erlangen . At that time he was aiming for a career as a track and field athlete.
In Phoenix (Arizona) and Los Angeles he worked temporarily as a photo and production assistant for an American production company, which made him familiar with the media business. In the 1990s he applied as an intern at the Nuremberg local station Hit Radio N1 , where he stayed for five years and took part in the morning show . Geisensetter then completed an apprenticeship as a business administrator. It was discovered for television at the end of the 90s. From 1999 he had his breakthrough as the presenter of the flirt show Herzblatt , of which he directed 80 episodes until 2001.
Then he switched to RTL . In Stranded (RTL II, 2001) he reported from Panama about candidates who had to survive on a desert island. In addition to other moderations, he played the role of Luis Bamako in the daily soap Unter Uns for four episodes . In 2002 he won the Promiboxen , a television boxing match between two celebrities, against Claude-Oliver Rudolph .
Since 2005 he participated as a candidate participating in other celebrity shows, including twice at the Wok World Championship , at the Koch Arena and two TV-Total -Specials. From 2006 to 2014 he worked as a substitute moderator for the tabloid magazine People Today on the ZDF .
In 2015 Geisensetter became company spokesman for the RSG Group , which also includes the fitness chain McFit . On July 1, 2019, he took over the management of the McFit fitness platform The Mirai , which is to be realized in the Neue Mitte Oberhausen .
He lives in Nuremberg and has a daughter.
